RumpelGen (“we”, “us”) operates the meme generator at this website. This policy explains what we collect and why. The short version: we keep almost nothing, your photo is used only to draw your meme, and payments are processed by Stripe.

Your uploaded photo

When you generate a meme, your photo is transmitted to our AI generation service to produce the cartoon, and is used for nothing else. We do not save the original photo to a gallery, do not publish it, and do not use it to train anything.

Generated images

The finished meme image is stored so you can view and download it. Free-tier images carry a small watermark. Images are stored under unguessable identifiers and are not listed anywhere publicly.

Device identifier

We set one cookie (rg_device) containing a random identifier. It lets us count your free generations and attach your purchase to your device. It contains no personal information and is not shared.

Payments

Checkout and payment are handled by Stripe. We receive your email address (from the Stripe receipt) and the payment amount, but never see or store your card details. Purchases are one-time; we do not store subscriptions.

Analytics and logs

We keep standard server logs (IP address, timestamps, error messages) for security and abuse prevention, including rate limiting. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking scripts.

Your choices

• Clearing your cookies resets your free-quota counter and removes your device linkage.
• Contact us at privacy@rumpelgen.com to request deletion of records tied to your device or email.
